Make Your Own Ceramic Wax Warmer
What you make
In one two-hour session you build your own wax warmer out of clay, and you take home a set of wax melts to burn in it. An instructor walks the room through the whole thing, so it does not matter whether you have touched clay before.
What is included
All materials are included — clay, tools, glaze and the firing. Your wax melts come in holiday scents and are included in the price. There is nothing to bring and nothing to buy afterwards.

Three sessions this October, each two hours. Tickets are $65, and Eventbrite adds its fees at checkout.
Friday 2 October — 7:00 to 9:00 PM
Saturday 3 October — 3:00 to 5:00 PM

When your warmer comes back
Clay cannot go home with you the same night. Wet clay has to dry, be bisque fired, glazed and fired again, and the full process takes about 30 days. All of it happens here in the studio, and we let you know when your piece is ready to collect.

A good one to give
A wax warmer you made yourself, with the melts to go in it, lands well as a holiday gift — and because the clay takes about a month to come back, an October class is timed about right for December. If you would rather work on the wheel, Beginner Wheel is the two-hour introduction, and Mosaic Class is the other make-and-take evening we run.
What to wear
Clay comes off skin easily but not always out of fabric, so wear something you would not mind marking up. Aprons are provided.
