We invite artists, performers, creatives, and cultural storytellers to join us in celebrating the richness, diversity, and beauty of Hispanic heritage and culture.

This celebration is an opportunity to bring together artists from across the Hispanic diaspora and create a space where our histories, traditions, identities, experiences, and contemporary voices can be seen, heard, and celebrated.

CALL FOR ARTISTS — THE DARK WITHIN

Gasper Arts Center invites artists to submit work for The Dark Within, a Halloween-inspired exhibition exploring the eerie, mysterious, unsettling, and beautifully strange.

We welcome artwork that dives into the darker side of imagination—from haunting and surreal to gothic, supernatural, or simply unusual. All mediums are welcome.

About Juror:

I am Ashley Starnes, a Boca Raton, Florida artist whose work begins as original hand-drawn illustrations and is transformed into one-of-a-kind stained glass and mixed media pieces. Inspired by gothic romance, horror, and storytelling, my work explores themes of love, grief, devotion, resilience, and human emotion through symbolism, bold color, and light.

Every piece I create is handmade and intentionally unique. I focus on creating collectible work that feels personal, atmospheric, and emotionally connected rather than mass-produced. Through stained glass, illustration, and mixed media, I blend gothic and alternative influences with fine art and craftsmanship to create pieces that are meant not only to be seen but felt.
