Kristina Tokar (1998) is a first gen Russian-American multimedia artist based in South Florida. She received her BFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2020 with a focus on Film Video New Media & Animation.
In 2025, she participated in multiple open calls across South Florida. From “My Lens Our City” for Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library to “Belly of the Bird” with O Miami Poetry to BitBasel to Ignite Broward to Riverwalk Magazine. Kristina also completed a teaching ceramics residency in the Maldives with Joali, an ultra luxury hotel from 2024-2025.
Currently focusing on ceramics, she spends most days inside Gasper Art’s Center in Dania Beach as a Resident Artist in studio #20. Opening March 2026, steps away from the Wynwood Walls - inside the Wynwood Kollective (2719 NW 2nd Ave), Kristina is preparing to launch her first retail shelf space featuring a variety of art and handmade incense.
